Bundle Up

This past week was one of the coldest on record in Ohio. This was our first layer of clothing when we went out this day. It took about 15 minutes to get everyone dressed. (Can't wait to get back to Alabama.)

Poor Kid

On our final trip to Alabama before the big move, Owen had to be bathed in his Nana's laundry room sink because he would not stay still in the big bathtub.

Thanksgiving in the Smokey Mountains

We had a great time in the Smokey Mountains on Thanksgiving weekend.

I just happen to have my camera in my hand from the previous picture. I was able to catch THE first time Owen pulled up by himself. He has been practicing for a week. I was ready for the crawling business, but pulling up right at nine months threw me for a loop.

Owen was very happy with himself and his new trick. All he did this afternoon was pull up on stuff. One great benefit for him, he can now reach some of his big sis's oh so interesting toys. Don't you love the diaper butt and bed head hair?

Trick or Treating

We participated in Beggars Night (aka Trick or Treating) last night. For some strange reason, if Halloween falls on a Friday or Saturday, then everyone trick or treats on Thursday night. Go figure...? We had lots of fun!

Visit to Pumpkin Patch

We visited a local pumpkin patch this weekend. There were many activities that I we never see in Alabama. We bought a "blue" pumpkin! I thought Owen was the cutest pumpkin in the patch!

Kyndal has now made both a snow angel and corn angel while in Ohio. This picture was taken after she made her corn angel and then decided she wanted to be buried in the corn.

I have been practicing many things over the last month and in one week everything came together. I can sit myself up, semi-crawl, and I cut my first tooth the day I turned 8 months old this week! - Owen

Man on the move

Owen turned himself over from his back onto his tummy on top of the changing table. I grabbed the camera and put in on my bed and this is what happened. He continued after I stopped filming and was very excited about his new trick.

Jacob's 1st B'day

Our little cousin, Jacob, turned 1 year old! We had a blast at his party. My crafty cousin Shannon made the party hats!

Flower child

Kyndal got her face painted at the zoo. When she told the lady she wanted a flower, we thought she would have simple petals painted on her cheek. This is the masterpiece the lady created. Kyndal said it was "awesome" and even slept very still on her back in order to keep it on her face for the next day. It worked too!

Kyndal loved being a flower girl. The job included everything she loves: pretty dress, fancy shoes, flowers, and Stacey and Chris (two of her favorite people). Before Kyndal walked down the aisle she looked at Stacey and said, "This is awesome!" I think Stacey thought the same thing.
